Canon or Nikon Cameras?

Which camera company do you prefer?

I prefer the Canon 1D due to the ergonomics, menu system, and overall feel of it. When I switched from film to digital, I went to the local camera shop and tried the different brands and models before narrowing it down to either the Canon 1D or Nikon D3x. Whether or not that makes me an "idiot", I don't really care. I want what I like. Back in my early film days in the 70's/80's, I had a 35mm Pentax given to me as a gift. It was never my favorite as I preferred my Minolta with a power winder. The Pentax just didn't feel right (but guilt kept me from selling it). The same thing with the current Pentax DSLRs...buying ANY camera should be about what YOU like and what feels right to YOU..

Pentax - too many idiots can't see beyond either.
NickP | Dec 05, 2012
I am also a recent convert to Pentax (about 1 year now.) And I don't regret it in the least! at least in the DSLR arena. But in the "bridge" camera area I like the Fuji Finepix S2950 or the Canon Powershot SX40 IS.

For me, any brand would just do fine. I'm not a specific brand lover. Plus it depends on your budget and lens collection. Pentax is a good gem coming out of DSLR industry, don't underestimate it. Pentax for me, beats all camera brands in terms or price and toughness.

Canon T50 camera not working?

My Canon T50 wasnt taking pictures. So I assumed it was because the batteries I put in werent fully charged when I put them in. So I put fully charged new batteries and it wont work. I turn it to power and i click the button but nothing happens?! im on picture 18 i have 6 more to go. Did taking out the battery while film was in there mess it up? Last used wednesday, now its only a day after and now its not working

Here is the T50 user manual. http://www.cameramanuals.org/canon_pdf/c anon_t50.pdf Your camera unfortunately can only be used in program mode, so you cannot choose specific shutter speeds or lens apertures What could be happening is that you are trying to take photographs that are impossible to to take under certain lighting. See page 17 The AA batteries power the self-winder, light meter and shutter. Removing and replacing batteries does NOT damage the film. They are in a separate compartment from where the film is located

    great for travel!

0 5/5 MDn (madison, wi) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: LensCoat LCBBBK BodyBag (Black) (Electronics) Bought this for my Canon 7D for a trip. I always carry my camera on in a sling type camera bag, but didn't want to have all of the foam interiors of bulk of the camera + lens.So i bought this along with a set of neoprene lens pouches and separated the body and the 2 lenses. It was great! I felt the camera and lenses were protected without all the excess bulk. Will definitely travel this way from now on! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , February 2, 2013

    Body Bag

0 4/5 Arleymon - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I wanted something to protect my Canon Mark IV when it was packed without a lens. This bag was designed for just that. It works well with one exception and that is not a fault of the design. It will not fit over the camera body with a Really Right Stuff L bracket attached. I must take the bracket off first- a bit of a hassle. It would be nice if the neoprene was a little more stretchable, or they offered a model that would accommodate the bracket. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , November 12, 2011

0 5/5 Isaiah Ratey - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: LensCoat LCBBPBK BodyBag Pro (Black) (Electronics) This is well worth the money if you travel with your camera. Even with the extra items (such as eye piece extender) it's a snug fit and protects it very well condiserding the material it's made out of. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , January 27, 2014

Great protection for my camera bodies

0 5/5 Mike - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: LensCoat LCBBPBK BodyBag Pro (Black) (Electronics) I ordered 2 of these covers for a D300 and a D600. Both bodies have the extended battery grips on them and they fit perfectly. I travel a lot with my camera equipment and don't have to worry about the bodies getting scratched up since they're covered. They roll up very small so I stuff them in my bag or backpack while I'm shooting. A cheap price to pay to keep my gear protected. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , December 31, 2013
